The aim of my works posted here was putting a set of genealogical information about the European Royal Families in the form of a compact lexicon. My inspiration was a book by a British journalist and historian Alison Weir entitled "Britain's Royal Families. The Complete Genealogy" (Pimlico, 1996), from which it was derived system, consisting the text into a several clear biographies. Each biography includes genealogical and biographical information regarding the monarch and his family. Each book contains all descendants of the monarchs of described country, included the deceased in childhood and adolescence, as well as the natural offspring, which generally received separate names and titles, and - with the exception of the early Middle Ages - was excluded from the succession.
